Yoga…

A practice to help you build strength & create space in both body & mind.

Practicing Yoga develops a physical & mental strength like no other.

Yoga is a combination of mind, body and breath, all of these elements working together to create the Practice. It increases space and flexibility within the body, and essentially does the same for the mind; building mental strength, creating headspace and providing tools to work through the stresses and anxieties that come with daily life.

I offer both one to one Yoga sessions and group classes at a number of locations in and around Chichester, West Sussex.

The style of Yoga I teach is Flow Yoga and I have recently started integrating more Lymphatic/Fasica style movement in my classes with a strong focus on mobility.
(Scroll down for current TIMETABLE, Yoga Events & Workshops and more information on each Yoga style.)

What to expect from a “Flow” class?

Influenced by Vinyasa Flow, my Sundown and Sunrise Flow classes coordinate movement & breath whilst flowing from one Asana (posture) to another through a series of transitions. This style of Yoga helps to build strength within the whole body, but at the same time providing a full Yoga mind, breath & body experience, almost like a “moving meditation”. I incorporate different mindfulness elements and breathwork in order to support the practice and provide focus and healing.

What to expect from Lymphatic, Fascia, Movement Flow ?

You may have heard the term ‘fascia” recently as the importance of its functionality within our bodies is becoming far more explored & understood. Fascia is the body’s internal communication network. It is a web of connective tissue that holds us together and when restricted or tight it compresses our lymphatic system (the system that removes waste fluid & toxins from our bodies) which the nervous system interprets as stress. By moving our fascial layers through multidirectional, rhythmic movement, we open up our lymph, improving its circulation which therefore reduces inflammatory load in the body and resets our nervous system. This class will make your body and mind feel AMAZING. With a combination of breathwork, lymphatic/fascial movement, a focus on mobility & and the influence of Flow Yoga, I am so excited to have added this class to my timetable.

What is Yoga Fit?

I currently don’t have a Yoga Fit class on my timetable but watch this space..! I absolutely love teaching Yoga Fit. It is a high energy, dynamic class I created myself whereby we essentially work with strengthening the body for Yoga, we breakdown some of the more challenging postures & transitions, build up a sweat and have a little fun!
